One glazed blue and white ceramic snuff bottle. A short narrow neck surmounts a flattened circular body tapering towards an oval-shaped base. One face presents a design depicting two figures under a tree in the company of a cormorant and a tortoise; the other face presents a pattern of twelve circles containing various animals disposed in two rings of six circles each around a central squared circle motif. The circles in the outer ring are interleaved with six ruyi motifs.
